Last month we had a group of divers go on a trip of a lifetime! They spent two weeks exploring the vibrant reefs of Palau and WWII wrecks in Truk (Chuuk) Lagoon 🤿

The trip started off with the group spending 5 days in Palau, staying at the luxurious Palasia Hotel and diving with Fish ‘n Fins. The coral reefs were amazing to see, and they were so full of life. Each island surrounding Palau is as beautiful as the aquatic life below. Fish ‘n Fins is a great dive shop to deal with - they are very accommodating and took our group to some spectacular spots. 🐠

The group then headed off to Truk (Chuuk) Lagoon where they spent one week on the Truk Odyssey Liveaboard diving WWII war ships & aircrafts that were sunk during “Operation Hailstone.” Notable wrecks that they saw include the Betty Bomber, Fumitzuki, and San Francisco Maru. It was interesting learning the history behind each of the wrecks. The hospitality on the Truk Odyssey was incredible - the staff were very welcoming & knowledgeable, rooms were very comfortable, and the food was amazing! If you plan on diving Truk (Chuuk) Lagoon, staying aboard the Truk Odyssey is the way to go! 😎

• Mary-Anne becoming Open Water Certified & celebrating her birthday 🎉

Much more can be said about this trip, as it was definitley a bucket-list trip ✅
