PADI OPEN WATER DIVER (ONLINE, CLASS & POOL)

Course Details:

1) Start your training at home with PADI eLearning ($259 + $35 logbook).  This online course consists of 5 modules that prep you for pool and open water training.  Through a combination of videos, quizzes and a final exam, you'll learn about the excitement, basic principles, safety and gear for scuba diving and get ready to jump in the water.

2) Register for in-class & in-pool course through Strathcona County Recreation ($238). Program includes a 4 hour class session at Ocean Sports (9833 63 Ave NW) with your PADI instructor and classmates, where you'll try on gear, go through a skills and safety briefing, and answer any questions you had from eLearning + 3 pool sessions where you'll master the practical skills you learned online and in the class.  

You must attend the class & 3 pool dates listed to complete this portion.  

To be fully registered, you need to purchase the eLearning through Ocean Sports and register for the pool through Strathcona County. Call us at 780-432-1904 with any questions.

 

3) Open Water Training (4 Dives) 

If you are heading to warm water, you can finish your 4 open water dives with any PADI Dive Center worldwide. Visit padi.com to find a dive shop at your destination (cost determined by receiving dive shop).

Or finish your certification with 4 open water dives during the summer with Ocean Sports at Jensen Lakes in St. Albert ($310).
