The PADI Bubblemaker is a blast! Kids ages 8-12 jump in the water & try scuba diving for the first time in a safe & comfortable environment, with kid-sized gear!

Children who are at least 8 years old don scuba gear to breathe underwater and swim around in shallow water. 

Bubblemakers get a chance to:

• Experience scuba diving under the direct care and supervision of a PADI Pro

• Take their first breaths underwater in water shallower than 2 metres/6 feet

• Learn about and use scuba diving equipment made for children 

• Have lots of fun 😊

Kids must be comfortable in the water, but no prior experience is necessary. Parental approval is required.

The cost of the course is $85 and includes snorkel and scuba gear, and instruction from one of our PADI Pro Staff. Registration and Payment are processed through Strathcona County Recreation. All sessions take place at the Kinsmen Pool in Sherwood Park (2001 Oak Street).

Once registered, we will contact you to complete the required paperwork.

Cancellations require 48 hours notice - you will receive a credit for a future pool session.
